Above 1940: The Lakewood Library branch which opened in 1938 used to be in the Diener Mils Building, and is still standing at 6342 La Vista, in the Lakewood Shopping Center.
Upper Right 1947: In the background behind children reading at library tables, you can see the bay window from the north side of the building.
Lower Right 1960: Children enjoy reading in the new children's area converted from an ice cream parlor with furniture purchased just for them.
